Kayleen Blair, DVM
Dr. Blair is a 1997 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been a part of the practice for over 18 years. In her spare time, Kayleen enjoys horseback riding, reading, and spending time with her family.
Megan Kennedy, DVM
Dr. Kennedy graduated from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Her interests outside of general practice include ultrasound imaging and optimizing client access to clear communication so they can best understand their pets' health. Fear Free practice is also a passion that brings her joy, as the benefits for both pets and clients are so evident. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, reading and horseback riding. She also enjoys spending time with her family, as well as dog, goats and chickens!
Becky Ventimiglia, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Becky joined our staff in October 2009. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who graduated from PIMA Medical Institute. Becky enjoys making jewelry and spending time with friends and family.
Chelsey Ibarra, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Chelsey joined our team in November 2017. She has been a licensed technician since 2015. She has 2 little Chihuahuas, Zoey and Taco. In her off time Chelsey enjoys knitting and anything outdoors.
Melissa Givler, Receptionist
Melissa joined the staff in August 2005. She graduated from the PIMA Medical Institute and can now be seen helping out at the front desk as well as assisting in back. She especially enjoys the relationships she has built with the patients and the clients.
Alexa Andrews. Receptionist
Alexa is the newest member of Advanced Care. She is an active 4-H volunteer and foster home for NOAH. She has a small hobby farm that includes 1 horse, 2 donkeys, 2 dogs, 2 cats, rabbits and poultry. Alexa has an Associates Degree of Art and Sciences. She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Nurse.
Sarah Pfarr, Veterinary Assistant
Sarah joined our team in October 2013. She is our certified dog trainer who offers basic obedience training for dogs of all ages. She also enjoys spending time with her Basset Hound Baeleigh, Lab Trigger and kitten Maebelle.
Heather Bayly, Veterinary Assistant
Heather joined our practice in July 2017. Her interests include phlebotomy and patient care. On her off time she enjoys riding Harleys, music, playing with her dogs, and hanging out with family and friends. Heather started in the veterinary field because of her love of animals. "I love to help a sick dog or cat that needs my full attention and TLC. When they get better and walk out the door, that is my best accomplishment."
Shannon Peck, Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist
Shannon transferred to us from our Mount Vernon clinic in April 2019. An avid animal lover, Shannon has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a snake. She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors degree in Zoology. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and volunteering at Skagit Land Trust. You will see her working at the front desk and also as an assistant to the veterinarian behind the scenes. We are excited to have her on our team!
Jess Noland, Kennel/Assistant
Jess joined our team in October 2018. Graduating from North West Technical College, she received her Veterinary Assistant Certificate. She enjoys reading and training her chickens, Cluck Norris and Hen Stefani. Jess has always enjoyed helping animals and people.
Toots, Clinic Cat
Toots is our clinic cat. You can see him in the clinic on days he feels like blessing you with his presence. He has been in the practice for two years, and his interests include exploring, and getting into things he shouldn't.
